It’s essential to begin implementing the Individualized Development Plan as soon as possible. Time is invaluable — don’t waste it hoping that “everything will work itself out.” Nothing resolves on its own. The earlier intervention begins, the easier and faster you’ll see results.
The older the child gets, the harder it becomes to overcome developmental delays and reach age-appropriate milestones.
Having an Individualized Development Plan is not enough — it must be implemented step by step. There are many children who have undergone numerous evaluations and assessments, but without consistent, structured intervention sessions, there will be no change in the child’s development. At the earliest signs of developmental differences, begin regular sessions with your child starting at 1.5–2 years of age.
