Implementing the Development Plan
So you've completed the Diagnostic Evaluation and now have an Individualized Development Plan for your child (a detailed action plan).

But how do you put it into action?

There are several options:
1 Center for Child Psychology and Speech Development "Tomatis 54"
Come to the Center for Child Psychology and Speech Development "Tomatis 54" (Novosibirsk, Russia), where a structured program will be built around your existing Individualized Development Plan.

In Person
Children who live in Novosibirsk attend the Center for 4–12 months (in cases of significant developmental challenges, work with the child and family may continue over several years).

Intensive Sessions
Children from other regions travel to the "Tomatis 54" Center 3–5 times per year for intensive intervention sessions (14–20 days each). After each session series, the specialists working with the child provide detailed recommendations to parents (and local professionals) on how to continue working with the child between visits.
Sessions at the "Tomatis 54" Center focus on:
  • initiating and developing speech and language;
  • helping the child adjust to preschool;
  • school readiness preparation;
  • support with the school curriculum (both mainstream and specialized);
  • behavior management;
  • strengthening the parent-child relationship;
  • fostering family harmony and preserving the family unit.
The "Tomatis 54" Center team includes:
  • Child Speech and Development Specialists
  • speech-language pathologists (SLPs)
  • psychologists
  • neuropsychologists
2 A developmental and intervention center near your home
Parents choose a developmental and intervention center near their home and can monitor the child's intervention activities to ensure they align with the goals and objectives outlined in the Individualized Development Plan.
3 Combined Approach
Ideal for families who don't live in Novosibirsk. The child attends 3–4 intensive intervention sessions per year at the "Tomatis 54" Center, and between sessions attends a center close to home.

Important reminders for parents:

It’s essential to begin implementing the Individualized Development Plan as soon as possible. Time is invaluable — don’t waste it hoping that “everything will work itself out.” Nothing resolves on its own. The earlier intervention begins, the easier and faster you’ll see results.

The older the child gets, the harder it becomes to overcome developmental delays and reach age-appropriate milestones.

Having an Individualized Development Plan is not enough — it must be implemented step by step. There are many children who have undergone numerous evaluations and assessments, but without consistent, structured intervention sessions, there will be no change in the child’s development. At the earliest signs of developmental differences, begin regular sessions with your child starting at 1.5–2 years of age.
